when i try to create a number sequence for PO,
following error - I set the scope to Company and added a segment with alpha '###"
start 1; 999; next: 1
When I try to add reference -: Purchase ->Purchase order, Above error is reported:

Show a record by page in SSRS Report used Precision Design
Hi, I have a report but shows only a page with a record even if i have 2 or more records in my table, the idea is show a record by page, so if i have 10 records must show 10 pages for example.
My data source type is a Query and no have filters, only reads all the records in my table that will be shown in the report.

Inventory Value Report - Inventory Account Does Not Display
The inventory value report should look something like this (done in Demo environment):
But instead, looks like this (Production environment):
I used the same "Inventory Value Reports" setup for both reports (only different account numbers, because they are in different instances). Is there something that I might be missing on the setup of the Inventory account? Either on the GL side or the Inventory side?
Has anyone else had this issue? I can't find anything online where the account information does not show up at all.
Another report that has a similar issue that makes me think this is an issue with the account setup is "potential conflicts - inventory and general ledger". The value does not reflect the main account that I put in to the parameters for the report, it is a negative number and gives me a > 100% difference in inventory to inventory account.

which AX database table has WorkFlow assign to user info
I'm building a Status report from PR -->PO-->AP Invoice, one of the requirement is to find whom the PR workflow assign to and whom the AP Invoice workflow assign to.
I'm not sure which AX database table that I can use to find the assign to user id/name.
Can anyone share the thoughts?

AX 2012 Purchasing Policy - Category access policy rule
Hi, I'm trying to use the Category access policy rule to restrict the purchase categories which a user may access when creating a Purchase order in the AX client, but I canot get it to work. The Help text says: "The procurement site in the Employee services portal uses the category access rule to control which procurement categories users have access to. When a user accesses the procurement site, the system determines which purchasing policy and category access rule to apply based on the legal entity and operational unit that the employee belongs to."
Can anyone confirm that the Category access policy rule only applies to the Employee servcies portal and is not used by the DAX client?

FAX through Batch in Ax 2009
Hi,
Is it possible to send a document through FAX in Batch (Server Mode) in AX 2009? If so, how this could be achieved. Currently I am getting error "Method 'Submit' in COM object of class 'XXXX' returned error code 0x80070002 (<unknown>) which means: Operation failed."
It is working fine in Client mode.

About TMS engine's parameters.
Hi all,
AX2012R3 new feature TMS give us many rate engines fellow.
- P2PMileageRateEngine
- P2PContractRateEngine
- P2PByWeightRateEngine
- RailRateEngine
- PostalZoneWeightRateEngine
- PieceRateEngine
- LtlRateEngine
- MileageRateEngine
And I want to try set up 'P2PMileageRateEngine' and 'P2PContractRateEngine', but I don't know what items and values should I set at parameter form (Click at 'Parameter' button in 'Rate engine' form.)
I assume that rate calculation is able to run based on conditions like weight and others in addition to start address and end address.
I tried to find a clue of these engine's setting up but I couldn't.
Does anyone know about these engine's usage or values to be set up.
(When whitepaper is published...?)

Deploying ad-in in AX
Hello,
I am using AX, I can deploy from AX: EP web-control pages, and SSRS report (and maybe more).
If I declared a specific web site, and created a Visual studio WEB application (that is in AOT), and want to deploy it -
How can I deploy VS WEB application from AX?
If not - is there any add-on util that I can do that?
(A web application can be created on IIS web site - I need also to choose which site).

I am upgrading from AX2012 Feature pack to R3, removing non-db components includes AOS removals as well.
i can see following compnents from control panel

> Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Setup files
> Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Trace Parser
Which are all to be removed?

404 ERROR page in EP

Currently working on EP ,
when i am entering vendor contact details and other fields am able to enter the values. But when I go for vendor Address Details ....I am not able to add address ...nd its taking me to error page 404.

Hi,
I am running Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with Commulative Update 7. When I am running Retail database utility for configuring offline database, system is throwing following error:
RetailDatabaseUtility.exe Error: 0 : DBUtilityCore<ProvisionDatabasesForSynchronizationAsync>b__7: A store with the specified StoreId could not be found.
Store and Offline store databases are created successfully.
If someone have implemented steps to configure AX retail. Please share it.

POS - price for a group of customer
Hi
I am using AX 2012 R3. I would like to setup a price by customer group for POS. In my scenario I have 2 stores and would like that when a customer (linked to a customer group Wholesale) buys at any of the stores then the POS applies a Wholesales price to the customer.
Can anyone share whether this is possible and how to achieve this? I would not like to set a price by individual customer

AX r3 POS - Method of Delivery
Hi
I am using AX 2012 R3. I would like to setup a method of delivery for my retail channel. I did link the Method of Delivery with the retail channel, but when I open the Retail Store, Setup, Modes of Delivery the system is not displaying anything I defined.
What am I missing please? any help will be appreciated

AX 2012 R3 Publishing Online Store
Hello,
I have a Problem with Publishing a retail online store. I Think I have installed all needed Components and run the AX Checklist for the Online Channel.
The Publishing Status of the channel is still "In Progress".
In Job History of "Retail Publishing Job 1" I got the Error Message:
"The specified default operating unit (00000021) was not found."
But I Define the operating Unit Number in (OmOperatingUnit).OMOperatingUnitNumber while I created the Online Store.
I look at the Table RETAILONLINECHANNELPUBLISHSTATUS, there is no entry for my Channel.
In the Screenshot you can see the online Store with the Operating unit number.

Retail 2012 R2 - Online Store - Publishing Status
I've created an online store, but I can't get it past Publishing Status of "In Progress".
It's in the retail organisation hierarchy, has a navigation hierarchy, has a catalog, has an assortment, have run A-1075_OC, A-0001_OC, plus probably all the other _OC jobs, all successfully completed, has a distribution location set up, financial dimensions. In a price group, I see prices in my Price List.
As I can't publish the store, I can't validate/publish the catalog.
Is there something not particularly obvious that must be set up in order to publish the store?

AX 2012 R3 VM - how to access Modern POS (beta)?
Hello, I have the AX 2012 R3 VM running and would like to see the Modern POS functionality. When i click on Retail POS (beta) icon, I get the message "Retail POS (beta) cannot be opened using the Built-in Administrator account. Sign in with a different account and try again."
I am using the generic Administrator/pass@word1 combination to log into the VM.
Did I miss instructions on how to access modern Retail POS (beta)?
