Hi There,

Suppose the warehouse staff post the packing slip from inventory module by path "Inventory management->Common->Shipments", on the shipments form, select a record and from the "Functions" menu button, select the "packing slip" menu item to post it.

The problem is if we don't select "Print packing slip" on the posting dialog, we cannot get a second change to print the packing slip from inventory management module again.(at least i haven't found another way to print the packing slip in the inventory management module)

My Questions:

1. Is it a good idea to ask the warehouse staff to post the packing slip from "Inventory management" module?

2. how to print the packing slip from the "Inventory management" module again after i posting it?

Hi friends,

while posting an journal in ax 2009 with account as customer and offset as bank ,after posting an journal the transaction not customer control account...but transaction post in ERROR account........

Pls give how it happens...........

Hi all

Im stuck on this, i need to integrate my vendor table/query to CRM using the connector and i noticed that there is no default map to do this, i have tried tio create a new map but i cannot "see" my vendor table/query.

I am new at this, so please guys i need help and a bit of guidance.

Can I get a simple list of net sales invoices raised anywhere?  I can list our invoice vouchers in the Sales ledger but this only gives me those raised via sales order, and we have mostly project invoices.

I have also played with the accounts receivable cube but only got gross transactions (I want excluding VAT)

the open invoices list obviously only gives open invoices (also gross)

Hi, I am trying to use workflow to start when the bank account details are added or amended on the vendor record.  This is to prevent anyone adding an account not related to the vendor.  We can then have a second person validate the details.

hello, 

our company will be upgrading to dynamics AX.  But before we upgrade, and lose FRX, we need to find out if we lose some of the functionality built into FRX.  FRX has the capability of creating many custom exchange rate tables to apply to specific accounts.  By custom i mean that we need to be able to upload our OWN exchange rate values into a table. is this possible in AX?  If not, what can we do to maintain this functionality within AX? Is there any 3rd party software available or custom modification posibilities.  We also currently run our financials through Management Reporter as well.  Can FRX be installed into AX?

Dear All,

Is there any hot fix to Run GP and Ax client on same machine? I have installed client for Ax 2012 R3 on machine which already have GP (2013) client But after installing Ax client GP not working any more every time we open GP(Dynamics.exe)   is saying Application crashed.

client Machine having Windows 7 with SP1 and All .Net frameworks with latest SPs.

The documentation of the pos hardware mentions :

Type the character set that is used for the printer. The default character set is 850.

Hello All,

I'm having an issue deleting a workflow in AX 2012. the error message reads:

"Instances of this workflow are currently running. The workflow cannot be deleted." How to find and delete (or stop) these instances?

We have encountered an issue where, when using workflow for AP Payment Journals, the approved by is not populated from the workflow history.  When groups are setup instead of workflow, the approved by is filled in.    I have reviewed the workflow to the best of my knowledge and see no place where to adjust this.   Also have reviewed the journal type setup and also don't see where this is controlled.   Is there any suggestions on how to fix this or what has been done to achieve this outside of code modification?

Hi All,

I am in process of upgrading AX 2009 to AX 2012 R3, i install AX 2012 R3 with the option to upgrade from AX 2009,

I am completing the check list, however after run the step of Importing user.aod file to USR model store, and restarting the AOS. i am not able to open the Check list again, following error is being thrown,

One of our interns "accidentally' went through the process of creating a custom entity for data import/export for the products entity that already existed. The data imports to the DMF staging table, but not from staging to target. The batch completes and says ended, but when you check execution history...it says "error" 0 records created and updated. There is also not an error message to follow. 

Any ideas?

Hi,

I am trying to create the new contact for the organization by using the customer using the AIF WCF service. I am using the service called "DirContactPersonService", I can create the new contact for the organization, but my requirement is to create the new contact by using existing customer (person).

My code creates the new person in the "DirPartyTable". I have to use the existing party (Customer or person) for creating the contact for the customer by using the AIF WCF service.

Hello:

I created a new class which extends the RunBaseBatch interface. Everything is working when I run the main() from within my class as part of testing. However, as soon as I set it up for batch processing the parameters I set for my class do not get stored / picked up when the batch job runs. The infolog I write out and the file I create confirm this. The batch job parameter does allow me to enter the parameter values but they're not stored or are they read and processed when the job runs. This is a first for me with RunBaseBatch so any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am currently on AX2012 R1 CU4. When users select forms from the My Favourites list, occasionally the wrong form opens up and keeps opening the wrong form. This issue is sporadic where i have seen it happen to users but i can not duplicate it. I have checked the version of the AX client to the AOS . Also tried to clear the cache from the client machine but seems not affected. Any Advise? Thanks...
