How should the intercompany accounting license code be properly enabled in AX 2012 R2? I found a TechNet article that says it cannot be enabled using the license configuration form in the system administration module; does anyone know how to enable otherwise? I want to have a line chart in a SSRS report. The data that i would to display are the following:
- x-axis: time in hours (from 0:00am to 12:00pm)
- y-axis: sum of line amount of the sales orders that are created in the hours of the day

Cannot see the order history & cannot Synchronize online orders
Hi
I just placed the order on the Retail online store.
It shows like this. If I click anyone of the order number. Error shows like this:
But i cannot view the status.
After that, Now I am facing error while "Synchronize online orders" to the AX side.
I just went to the AX side & just did create action & ran the "P_0001-OC" job after that i just did the "SYNCHRONIZEONLINEORDER" at that step the Dynamics AX 2012 R2 is not responding (for past 150 Minutes). Like this i tried for lot of times. Can you please help me.

Setup For Item reservation for FEFO
Hi All,
I am using Axapta 2012 R2.
I will take items into inventory by using Batch No’s, with expiry dates.
After posting Sales order picking list, I want to do the manual reservation from shipment form in Inventory and warehouse management\Common\Shipments.
Can anyone please share with me the required setups to achieve this .

Problem installinf Retail Synch Service
HI,
I had installed AX on my laptop with all retail components including Synch service, but I had to uninstall retail components. After uninstalling them whenever I tried to install these components, they all installed correctly except the 'Sync Service'.
Someone advicesd me to do a fresh installation for resolving this issue, so I re-installed Windows Server 2012 R2 along with a new installation for AX2012 R2 but Synch service installation failed this time again.
What I have tried so far?
I checked the SQL privileges for the user and make sure user had all of them.
I made sure all pre-requisistes were installed.
I tried many proposed solution from forms but problem still persists.
What exactly happens when I try to install it?
After providing configuration details for retail components in the setup, the installation creates databases for Retail POS, but when it comes to creating a database for Synch service with a cmd screen opened, it gives an error and installation executes a rollback. Error says insance was not installed as expected contact your vendor.
I review the event and setup logs but was not able to understand the solution.
I am posting the text from the log file at the end.
It seems to me that the problem occurs while creating or validating database for Commerce data exchange but these services were working fine on previously installation of mine with similar settings. Real time services installed correctly.

AX 2012 databaselogging of security changes
We have AX 2012 CU5. We want to log all changes made on security objects. I enabled all security objects in the databaselog setup but when I change a security role, it doesn't appear in the sysdatabaselog table. What's wrong?

This should be simple -- Delete a filter saved for all users
A user has created a filter in "Advanced Filter/Sort" and saved it for all users. Now, we want to delete it from all users, but if we press Delete from the filter/sort interface, it only deletes it for the current user. How can we "delete for all users?" This is DAX 2009 SP1. Thanks!

Forecast AX 2012
We would like to hear from users who have had the same issue as us, and how they solved the issue. We must use weekly forecast buckets, when MRP is run on Monday the forecast is visible, however by Tuesday it drops off. This is a problematic for us as we may run MRP on other days of the week. We've told told this is an issue with AX. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Invalid object name AX.dbo.CUSTCONFIRMTRANS
I restored a backup from my live AX 2012 R2 environment to a test server, and now I can't confirm Sales Orders. SQL returns an error saying "Invalid object name AX.dbo.CUSTCONFIRMTRANS". The table exists in sql and the AOT. I've tried full x++ compile, CIL compile, synchronizing the database, restarting AOS... I'm at a loss. Any pointers???

My client is a rice processer, we have production I & II here I am facing following problem:
We have two Sites opened in AX Site 1 and Site 2, each Site has Production Units. We have created Single BOM and Multiple Routes (Site wise) for Finished Goods. Order is received at Site 1 only it is a part of regular cycle that if order is huge in size then it is divided and processed on both sites.
Now in AX when I run Master scheduling AX schedules the order on the Site which is given on Sales Order and if the quantity is greater than daily capacity of work center then it schedule it in early dates so that delivery can be made on requested ship date.
How can I split the order and then schedule it to get processed simultaneously on both the sites?

Multi-site production of the same component based on work center consumption
I am unable to get this setup to work correctly and I need assistance. Here's what I've done. I setup an item called FG1 / Finished Good. BOM_00000037 is attached to this item and calls for the second item I created which is a BOM/Production item entitled Component/Component. Note BOM_00000037 is not site specific and in the BOM lines, component is marked for work center consumption. The component has BOM_00000038 attached to it. Bom_00000038 is not associated with a site and calls for a purchased item which I created called Part / Part.
I also create two routes. RTE_00000030 is for FG1 / Finished good and only has one operation for assembly. RTE_00000026 is for the component. RTE_00000026 has a version created for both of the sites (1 and 3) where this component can be manufactured. I also specified the work centers / production units (as related to site 1 and 3) to specify where this component can be made/where the operation can be performed.
When I try to schedule jobs for the component with a tight schedule (using the schedule backwards from delivery date), I get an error message that states ‘attempts are made to schedule production before today’s date’ and thus it schedules for this date forward. And in the process it never considers the other site/production unit/work center where the component can be manufactured.
I made all the documented setup / parameter changes and I have reviewed and re-reviewed all the work centers, work center groups, working time templates, calendars, production unit, items, item groups, BOMs, BOM versions, routes, route versions, operations, production parameters, site specific production parameters, master planning parameters, and everything else I can think of multiple times. Everything seems to be setup correctly from my point of view but I can’t get it to work thus I’m at a loss.

What's also strange is only on some (not all) POs will I get that first "company vc1 does not exist" error. vc1 is a virtual company we have that was created when we went live with AX 2012. Since ALL throw the 'recId allocation' error, but only some throw the company error it may be 2 separate issues.. or not. This isn't happening currently in our AX2012 R2 environment. Any pointers for clearing this up in CU7?

AX 2009 error when close settlement scree for draw bill of exchange when mark two journals
create BOE journal for invoiced sales order and post it.
create new protested journal for this BOE and post it also.
create payment journal and post this payment to increate customer credit.
Create new BOE again when i try to settle and mark protested journal and payment journal and try to close the screen the following error appear:
Several transaction have been selected for settlement with various values, all marks have been removed.

DAX 2012 R2 stuck on Installing model 'Foundation' to the database
Hi All!
I'm starting to configure a new DAX 2012 R2 environment that has the following topology:
- 01 AOS Server
- 01 Failover clustered SQL Server
- 01 SharePoint WFE (Enterprise Portal / PWA)
- 01 SharePoint App (Project Server integrated with DAX)
By installing and configuring SharePoint and Project, everything goes well (using the same database instance will be used for DAX).
The problem is when I'm start to configure DAX 2012 R2 Databases. Setup stuck on the following step:
I tried to stop and start it again... But its keep running during many hours! I also tried to run the setup by calling local (C:\DAX\setup.exe) and by network share (\\servername\dax\setup.exe). Any result...
Already disabled UAC, reboot the server and the problem remains... Look at these details:
No CPU, memory and network usage during the setup...
Apparently, the model (Foundation) is not found and being imported to SQL. The log (and setup) stops here...
The last message on SQL Server Event Viewer is about Dynamics. No errors, warning or success advices...
The user account I'm using for install databases has the following permissions:
- Local admin on DAX/ AOS Server
- Local admin on SQL Server
- SYSADMIN role on SQL Server
Is there anything else I'm missing?
