AX 2012 Cumulative Update 3 Binary Update?

Hi there,

I want to apply CU3 to my AX 2012, which is a VM downloaded from Partner Source. Besides the normal update file in CU3, there is a binary update called KB2709934_BinaryOnly. Do I need to apply this binary update also? If so, when should I apply it, before the normal update, before ‘Start the software update checklist’, or after ‘Compile and synchronize’? I didn’t find any document about it.

Is there any document on how to install a CU? I found nothing on Partner Source except an aged KB893082.

Please advise.
