AX 2009 SP1 AIF importing a large file

I have a need to import a large file into a ledger journal using AIF.

I have tried the interface wit a small file and it works.

The file that the customer need to import is 500 MB.

I have changed registry settings for AOS (Maxbuffersoze = 1024, Client 1024 and added to .AXC files

I have also changed RPC MaxRpsize 1024

I still receive an error Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

Have any of you had success with import of a file of this size - and how big was your biggest file?
