Workflow stopped error: 'Posted status cannot be changed to Approved'

Hi,

I am working on Dynamics AX 2009, in Expense management,  workflow for a user stopped saying  'Posted status cannot be changed to Approved'. The workflow was assigned to the approver and after being approved it stopped with this error before the workflow gets completed.

It would be great if you guys can help me to resolve this issue.
