I have a couple of questions regarding the deployment of AX2012 R2 client on a Windows Server 2012 remote desktop services server that perhaps someone can throw some light on:
1) The AX2012 (Incl R2) system requirements documentation (Feb 2013) currently only refererences Windows Server 2008 as the supported operating system when deploying in remote desktop services environment, does anyone know if Windows Server 2012 is supported?
2) When using AX2012 R2 in a remote desktop services mode, and the office Word / Excel components are in use, can the system be configured to execute Office Word or Excel from the local PC installation rather than the remote desktop server installation - trying not to install office products on remote desktop server if possible.
