MenuItemdisplay:// instead of URL when opening from client AX 2012

I am having an issue when I am in the AX 2012 client.   This is just one example.   While in the client I select expenses - select my expense report - in the action menu i select view history instead of displaying a URL i get menuitemdisplay://Workflowstatus instead of the url.  Any Ideas on how to fix this?   I am pretty sure that it has something to do with  http://URL&RUNONCLIENT=1 because if i change it to 0 it works fine and it works fine on the portal without the client
