How to data convert FIFO cost layers for new implementation?

Hi All,

We use the FIFO costing method. We are doing a conversion form a legacy ERP system to Dynamics AX. We need to convert our inventory FIFO cost layers. for Go Live. Our partner is telling us that we can in theory bring the layers in, but not with the date, which of course wouldn't make any sense for FIFO- the system will need to know what is the oldest cost layer.

Any advice on converting the FIFO layers?
