Customer/Item Statistics Report
Hi Everyone,
Wondering if there is any way to filter the Customer/Item Statistics Report by what warehouse the product was shipped out of? I don't really see any way to do this.
I can filter by Dimension No. on this report -- is there any way that I can filter by any Dimension No. that includes a specific warehouse?

Error while running report
while trying to run one of Dynamics AX reports on Reporting Services i've got error:
An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError) The given assembly name or codebase, 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS12.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\RSTempFiles\reportserver\a98231f1\845a2074\assembly\dl3\a2415b86\00897c85_c52ecf01\Microsoft.ReportingServices.ProcessingObjectModel.DLL', was invalid.
Could you please help what should I try to do to make it work?

[AX2012 R3] Sales returns via mobile device
Dear all,
I'm trying to receive a sales return through the mobile device but I'm not able. I have location directive, work, mobile device menu items. I start the receiving process, enter RMA number, item nr and quantity. Click OK and nothing happened. I would appreciate if you send me a link to a guide for processing sales order returns in R3 or suggest me any settings I'm missing.

AX 2012 R2 PO approval workflow - auto approve question
Hi all - wonder if you can help.
Relatively new to AX, and struggling with a PO approval step.
I've set up a multi-step approval process, which is working fine, but I'd like to auto approve POs if they're under the employee approval limit, but can't seem to get the right conditions to display in the Automatic Actions for the approval. Currently only lists Purchase Orders and Workflow. I can see Employee in the conditions for Approval Assignment based on hierarchies - so I know that the data is there!
Any pointers as to how to get this working?

Product Import Using Excel

I'm using Dynamics Ax 2012 (I don't have data migration framework). I need to import the product master with variant, images, related product, file attachment, product prices and attributes via excel. Is there any way to import these data's into Ax 2012 via excel. Please guide me to do(Because I'm new to the data import to Ax via excel). Suggest me some links too.

WHS Work status change code
At Warehouse management -> Setup -> Work -> Work status change codes, you can define something called a Work status change code. You can run a Select query on the Work & Work lines tables on each code that you set.
On a Work template line, I can set a Work type of 'Status change', against which I can set one of the codes I created above.
Is anyone able to explain how this functionality can be used? I can't seem to add a Work template line of type 'Status change' to a Work template that also results in a Work template that passes Validation ('Invalid - The last line cannot be a Status Change line' or 'Invalid - Status Change lines must come after Put lines').

Ax Keeps Running a Query in SQL...

I have noticed a query while monitoring the sql queries running in server, which runs for quite a long time with very high logical reads.I couldnt figure out which client or what causes this query.Is tehre a way to find the source of this query? SPID's dont give me the specific hostname because all queries are run by AOS hence hostname is always the AOS's host name.

2012 project budget
Hi all
I'm facing some issues with project budget revision. This seems to happen on some occasion only. The issue is that sometimes when I make a revision to a budget the amount gets stuck in unapproved and I have to revise it again to move it from unapproved to approved. When it does this it keeps both of the approved and unapproved budget in the ProjTransBudget and this shows up on the budget report.
Has anyone encounter such an issue?

MPOS Activation get error "Device Activation Error : An error occured while communicating to server"

Try to install MPOS and activate it in computer client. When I try activate it, I get error message :

I check using Fiddler that :

Ax 2012 R3 Not All Modules showing in Navigation Pane
Dear All,
I am facing an issue with Ax module display in navigation pane.
Only few modules like(HR, Administrator AR and Procurement & Sourcing are displaying) remainin not displaying
I have upgraded from 2009 to 2012 R3. in 2009 only few modules were displaying like (HR Admin, Proc &Sour , AR and GL) .
(Botton Left side a small arrow leads to Navigation pane option also have only above module ).
I have updated the license taken from another customer instance that is displaying All modules. i have Done Compilation, CIL and Sync All is ok with nigle error but offcourse few warnigs. in license config all options are checked from all modules, Developer workspace also opening. User also Assigned Administrator Role. every thing seems fine but don no what to do else, please help.
Stuck to ths since weeks please help

Upgrading AX 2012 to R3
Hi Everyone, we are trying to an upgrade for a client but we got stuck now at a point and aren't really sure how to continue.
The problem that we have is that the new fields that were added in the upgrade are all allocated in the sys later and our customization in the cus layer but the upgraded new fields is not showing in the cus layer.
We have tried to export and delete the tables that bring the new fields in sys to the cus and then manually created our custom fields, and this caused the fields to create new ax id and object ids and caused a data loss when we do the data upgrade.
In short how do i get the upgraded table fields from sys into cus and keep our customization without changing the ax and object id's

Using SrsReportServerWarmup problem.
Hello,
I am creating reports in SSRS for AX.
Every report has overhead time consuming - it might be 30 seconds for first run, and the 2nd time on it is much faster (less than second).
I use SrsReportServerWarmup, but I don't know whether this is the solution, nevertheless I got an exception when running the job SrsReportServerWarmup:
The data method (MyReport, MyReport.BusinessLogic, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null)::resolve returned null.
The reports run fine with no problem - no batch.
Framework is 3.5 - I think this may be problem in framework, because when I create business logic, the default framework is 4.0, and I need to change it to 3.5 (otherwise, I got the same error, when running the report from AX).
1. Why the report first run is too slow, and is SrsReportServerWarmup the solution (for every service restart - the job must run again?
2. What is the exception I get, and how solving it?

Reports in AR/reports/statistics/customer
I am new to DAX and am printing reports for Item/Customer Statstics. The revenue totals on the report are higher that the net revenue on the financial statements. I need a report that matches the financials.
The report is: the item table-line, customer invoice lines by sales order and customer invoice journal by cusotmer account.
It appears as though the credits or returns are not on the report. ????
Can someone identify what is wrong with the report setup?
