How can i make it as installable?. Is it possible to import xpo programmatically,say for eg, from .Net ?

I get the following error when trying to load more than 1 product from source file to staging table using the data migration tool.
"Error occured while doing bulkcopy from temp table to entity table 0 Product records inserted in staging"
It works fine with 1 product but not more. Also it works fine when bringing in customers, vendors, customer addresses etc (bulk records)
The Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.DMF.SSISHelper.dll and Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.DMF.SSISHelper.tlb files are in place in the client and server directories
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Client\Bin and C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\<AosInstance>\bin
I have also increased the Maximim Buffer Size from 24 to 48 under database tuning in AX Server Config utility.
Could anybody please share thoughts on this?

Hi, I created user control in VS2008 I clicked on Add to AOT.
I Found the object on AX2009 but, I can't find the ASCX on the EP.
I modified SysEpDeployment CLASS (64 bit) in AX but I can't find my ASCX file on EP.
Someone know how can I fix it ? Maybe changing some setting for deployment ?

We have a problem with Ax 2009 and synchronizing appointments to attendees Outlook. On the attendees activity record it is not possible to activate synchronization, but we ge the error that "Attendee activity can be synchronized only after the link is established with a Microsoft Outlook appointment.". The responsible/organizer has synchronized his appointment to his calendar without problems. How should this be handled to get the appointment synchronized also to the attendees´ Outlook?
Our purchasing deparrtment raise a PO with item A at 0.85 per item cost. The item is receipted. A time later a cost discrepence is noticed and a price change of 0.05 is required. In order to do this we create a negative receipt for the item and then adjust the PO to reflect he new price 0.80 and reciept the goods again. Is there a way we can adjust the cost without having to go through a negative receipt. This is carried out before PO set to invoiced status.

I would like to find Average On hand inventory quantity for specified periods. Is there any default report for this in AX 4? I want to use it in order to calculate average inventory carrying cost annually.
We are doing an implementation for a client who wishes their users to have severely restricted access to the system. Even some of the duties contained in the Dynamics AX 2012 security configuration grants too much access. How do I go about hiding these menu items? For example, some of the duties grant access to Setup menu items, which these users should not be able to see. Please note that I am not a developer.

We are working on configuring TFS 2010 with AX 2012. We have multiple development mahines with AX install. We have installed TFS 2010 on one machine. We are able to configure the project collection and link it via the connect to Team Foundation Server.
I have read on view forum posts that we need a Team server id. Please point me to the location how we can download it for TFS 2010. Also how to do we configure this with AX 2012.
How to we restrict AX 2012 object so that it is checkout to only one machine. Seems like we are able to make changes to the same objects on mulitple machines.

I have a Dynamics AX Consultant who provide a service for us. They asked a blank check to access our production DYNAMICS and Database Servers environment.
The Consultant team has demanded the access to the production SQL Server database and AOS Server machines with the administration priviledges.
So far, I already granted the consultant groups the local administrators group on AOS server.
However, I am concerned and hesitate to grant them local Administrator group and administrator on SQL Server production machine without knowing what
they do and done.
Moreover, I learned from Microsoft Dynamics AX training guide in order to setup, install, and configure AOS and SQL Server database

I watched them setup in production environment and test. They kind of tried and errors when configure and migrated AOS server.
I have Dynamics AX2009 Server with Hotfix Rollup 3 Build 5.0.1500.2116.
I do some researches and find out that Microsoft already have Dynamics AX2009 Hotfix Rollup 8 (RU8) with Build # 5.0.1500.64901 release.
Then, I applied the new AX2009 Hotfix Rollup 8 into our DEV and Test environment.
The DEV and Test environment were working okay as far as I can tell.
I approached my Controller and explained to him that our DYNAMICS AX2009 Production environment fall behind to apply the Microsoft Dynamics Hotfix.
He agreed that our Dynamics AX2009 should adopt and apply the newest hotfixes. However, we did not have much knowledge and experiences.
On the other hand, we have Dynamics consultants againsted and disagreed that we should apply the latest and newest AX2009 hotfixes.
He believed that the new Dynamics AX2009 hotfixes will prevent a few Dynamics AX2009 customize not works.

We have 2 great points to resolve, related with the FindKeys standard action.
FindKeys input uses a structure like this:

1.- Let's suppose we want to look for items that matches "00*"; this is, with wildcard. But this will not work, Ax tries to retireve an item with exactly that code. How can we perform or emulate wildcards in this case? (if you're about to ask "with an AND operation", read below)

We would expect to get all the items wich itemId is >= "002", AND Name is "Boss". Well, that's not the case. AIF performs a logical OR; this invalidates any possibility of selecting with more than a field criteria.
Duplicating the <QueryCriteria> doesn't work, AIF seems to be blind with that.
How can we make the AND operation between fields in an AIF FindKeys action query?

We have a company that has an accounting currency of USD, and a defined reporting currency of CAD in AX2012. We have set up MR2012 to use the Datamart, and data transfer there fine. When we go to run a report on this company in MR2012, we can not find a way to show the Reporting Currency values in the report.
In the column definition for the report in designer, we go to select the Currency Source of Reporting, but it shows that as 'Reporting in USD' and when you select it, it displays the word 'USD'. If we select a Currency Filter for that of CAD, it shows 0. If we do not, it shows the USD value.
We have tried about every combination we can here, with nothing showing the CAD value we require. Was hoping someone had a solution for using reporting currency other than USD in a report.
