is there any way to filter on location type/zone? eg i only want reserve on goods in location to storage, but if its in a stage location that will be later assigned to a transfer order i dont want to allow for a sales reservation
any ideas guys?

Demand forecast "Statistical baseline forecast"
Hi All,
I am facing one issue while generating statistical baseline forecast, when I open the excel sheet it is missing the item which does not have the transactions during the "historical period" define during the generating the forecast generation. I just want to know is it standard of I am missing something in the setup, please advise I am using AX 2012 R3 CU10.

String field with a drop down with optional values
Hi,
Is there a way to have the String field show a drop down with optional values (basically, a table relation or a base_enum).
I explain myself :
I would like to have a field with text in it and a dropdown right under it.
You can either write in the field like usual (it is a string), or select one of the element of the drop down menu.
The select will simply replace the value of the string with what is selected, allowing you to have a string field with some selectables values?

Financial Dimension & Inventory Journal
Hi Everybody,
Does anyone know if it exist a way to set financial dimension in inventory journal? When you go through General Ledger > Journal setup > Journal names it is possible to set financial dimension. But in Inventory Management > Setup > Journal names > Inventory, it's not available, is it a way out to fix it?
I don't want my users set financials dimensions when creating transfer, arrival etc. My financial dimension depends from my journal and not from my item so i can't set them on the item.

Custom AIF document service not creating record and generating a warning exception
I have created a new document service to import data in to the JMGAbsenceCalendar table. The query I based the document service on simply contains the JMGAbsenceCalendar table. I have only enabled the create operation for this inbound port. I am able to deploy the Inbound Port with no issue, and ab able to write the C# class to consume the service. Everything looks good, but the record is not being created, and an exception of type warning is being thrown. The response I get from the create operation contains the RecId field, which has the value of 0. The warning being thrown is "Could not create correlation for message {F6ACA8FA-CC86-418F-9BB7-A5A1AE333EEA}". For the life of me I cannot understand what is going on here. The document (xml file) being processed looks just fine. Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I have never encountered a nagging issue like this before, and am just stuck at this point.

When setting up Legal Entities I have a question about 2 options:
1.Use for Financial consolidation process, if selected yes or No...can this be changed at anytime? If No, why?
2.Same question for "Use for financial elimination process" can I change at anytime, if No...why?

Inherit ProdFlushingPrincip from Inventtable when creating new BOMlines
Hi,
I have always thought (without checking) that the field Inventtable.ProdFlushingPrincip was set on the items in InventTable, so it could be inherit to BOM.ProdFlushingPrincip when creating new BOMlines. Now i see that this acctually does not work..
I know that this could be set generally on route groups++, but i have to difference Start/Finish based on the items Item model group which have different parameter on the "Physical negative inventory", because of some limitations around this in ShopFloor. Long story short :)
Does anyone know if there is any parameter i have to turn on, or is there no relation between this fields? It would be really nice to not have to difference this manually for every single bomline we create.

How to expose more columns in AOT from AxDB
Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone knows how I can expose more columns in AOT from AxDb tables.
There are a few columns that appear in DIMENSIONATTRIBUTEVALUECOMBINATION table in SQL but I can only see a few of them in AOT. See screenshots.
The columns I need for example are: ItemGroup, ItemGroupValue, BusinessUnit, BusinessUnitValue etc.
Is there a reason why these fields are not shown in AOT?

ATLAS 6.0 Fixed Asset Batch Upload
I have been tried to use "24 ATFixed Asset Batch Upload Example" template to Append fixed asset.
I would like to ask if the template can help to add Value model to the new fixed assets?
I have tried to run the batch process, the template has successfully added a new fixed asset to the AssetTable, however when the process continues to update the data (value model), an error occured showing "No matching record found. Update failed."
Could anyone help to solve this issue?

Update Entry In LedgerJouranalTrans Table
Hi All,
I have update record in LedgerJournalTrans Table.
I am facing problem with two fields.
1. AmountInDebit
2.AmountinCredit.
i have given the value is Amount Debit is 100 then amount credit is 0 , but it was update both as 0 values.
this fields are extends the edt AmountCur.
Doubt : in a line if i am updated the AmoutinDebit, update this field only , no need to update AmountInCredit.
How can i ?

Assign a value to a dropdown lookup box on a form.
I created an additional new button in Sales Agreement (creating new record). Where if it's the one clicked, the Agreement Classification value will have a certain value. I've already done detecting if that button is clicked, now what I am trying to do is assign a value on AgreementClassification, where it is a dropdown box that has a lookup method. (in its field on its table)
What I did is assigned a value when the form is loaded on the run() method.
I tried doing:
SalesAgreementHeader_AgreementClassification1.value(5637144580);
where 5637144580 is the recId of that value. I used .value because the form object doesn't have .text and it doesn't work.
How can I assign a default value to that dropdown box?
