My apologies if the question seems half-baked. My AD/ADFS kb is limited.

We have a client who is considering enforcing multifactor authentication for user login to their production instance of AX 2012. Has anyone dealt with this use case? Apparently, they are trying to do this with their other applications as well, through ADFS.

I have seen documentation that states authentication through ADFS is not an option in AX 2012. Microsoft has made it clear that it's not supported. But I am wondering if there are any hacks or other options that have emerged over the past few years.

Hello experts,

We are trying to change the item price on a few items in our system (AX 2012 R3 CU10). When we follow the normal procedure that we have used in the past (Product Information Management > Released Products > Manage cost > Item Price > New > Save > Active) we encounter an error. The error reads: "A critical error has occurred in function InventStdCostAdjust.adjustStdCostFinancial."

Is it because there are transaction against this item? We have tried to do it with an item that has all closed transactions and adjusted all the on-hand qty out but we still get the same error. Are we simply doing something incorrectly?

Dear Gents;

During the creation of movement journal i am selecting financial dimensions, these financial dimensions are

not display in the report i.e. journal print report . Can somebody help me how can i display my financial 

dimensions in my ssrs report...

I am facing problem since couple of weeks regarding quantity and prices of fresh items,when ever scan at Retail POS it picked up wrong quantity or wrong price from tag.some times it scanned accurately but when cashier select for pay cash suddenly the bill amount changed due to change in quantity or price.

Any solution plz

Hi All,

I was Export/Import data between environments. All the entities are successfully imported into the another environment. But the "Screen Layout ID" field in Retail store from is not getting updated automatically. It is still blank. But the record is available in drop down. I used "POS Screen Layout" entity for this.

Just wanted to know whether it will update automatically after the data import or we should manually update it?

Hello,

On india Gst patch. I created an import order. I have done the necessary setup for import transaction.

IEC number, foreign vendor check box. I created custom tarif code for the item, and set it on the item for. The import order created. 

On GST Tax setup. I give rate for BCD for the Custoom tariff code. For the IGST CUS setup I can not give a rate. There is not any place for IGST rate given.

So only the BCD can be calculated. How can i customize the configuration to calculate the IGST CUS as well.

It hould be calculated bas on product price + BCD tax amount.

Dear

We are trying to build a report on what each wave in wms has sales invoice

We can easily go from whswaveline to get the salesid which is the sales order number but i need to get the sales invoice

And that should be easy enough from the custjourtrans but my issue is that some sales order could be partially invoiced and divided on two waves

So i don't know how to link the sales invoice to a certain wave or shipment

Please advise how to get from wave to sales invoice?

Dear Ludwig!

I have configured the Cash Discount Slab for same day as follows:

Which means I want to give 5% cash discount to my user if he pays the invoice amount in same day. But currently I'm facing following type of issues:

1- System will not give 5% discount on all same day transaction. System will auto generate the discount vouchers of random transaction which contain 5% discount

2- System calculate the exact amount of discount but sometime post that calculated voucher and prompt the following message:

"28.58 for voucher CPR-XXXX in company XXX will be posted as a cash discount difference in ax 2012"

This is one of the client's critical issue so please help me out

Hello all!

I installed the Security Development Tool model in AX and did the Compiling and Synchronizing,

I can see the model in Installed Models but the tool is not appearing in Dynamics AX. as shown,

does anyone know if I'm missing something here.

I already installed it before successfully in another environment but it didn't go well this time.

Hello All dear members,

In SSRS report in design, i have a column, which is not going to shrink, for example i want to keep its width size 3 in its  property(I also tried to resize it through mouse from the top).its automatically  go to 7(width property) neither is saving nor changing its property to other value like 3 or 2 . In the picture i have shown Column and its property. I also made its property  'cangrow' to true or false but in vain. In this report i have 6 columns, this column will shrink all columns(means make small other columns), when i try to change this column.

I am now working on SSRS report in that the value of "Price" Column in Real data type. But i want to show that real data type in int for example instead of 7.66 shows 8 simple.

We setup Salesman van as a warehouse and we want to define the maximum weight of the van. I found it 
in inventory management >> inventory breakdown >> warehouses >> inquires >> inventory location as following pic. but there are mandatory fields.iam not need the whole to set up. Is there another way to setup?

Hi All

I am trying to use the posting multiple journals (GL->Periodic->Journals-> Post Journals) in 2012 R3

But I get the following error message

Numbers could not be generated because a number sequence reference is missing. Ensure that all necessary number sequences are set up.

But I cannot for the life where I need to assign the number sequence.

Please help me in the right direction.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to customize a workflow "Review original budget workflow" to add a new filter for the condition statement.

In the below screenshot I need to see ProjTable also along with Project Budget and Workflow.

Can someone suggest what elements to modify here. I couldn't really find any blogs and online documents on this topic. 

I have created extension for ProjBudgetOrigWorkflowDocument Query and added the new table but it's not reflecting to the workflow. Is there some other elements to modify as well? If someone has relevant information to share, it will be great.
