Any good resources for Project Accounting + User Time Entry for Dynamics 365 F+O, along with scope+depth of potential customization and configuration?

For instance, I'm seeking project accounting software and with the ability for users to be able to enter time against tasks, but they must only be able to choose from the given projects and tasks to which they have been assigned, and only be able to enter time against the task within the dates of the Period of Performance, and within the budgeted amount of hours/dollars.

Hi,

Can someone please explain what is "extended data type" with example. Its concept is not very clear to me

The above report displays all prices for an selected item, but i need the report to be displayed only active price(latest price) for an specific item.

Can anyone help me how to do that.

Hi All,

I have define 4 banks in the Cash and bank module, now when i am trying to pass the entry in GL entry i cannot see all the four banks in the drop down after selecting the "account type" bank.

Can any one guide me what is the reason why i cannot see all the bank.

hi,

i need to make some changes to the standard form in 

Cash and bank management > Inquiries and reports > Checks 

so i created an extension of the form and added the required fields. i need to perform some functionality as well but i am not able to do anything since the entire form is not editable. on checking the datasourse property i fount the allowedit(), allowcreate(), allowdelete() all were set to NO.

so i created created a class and pasted the Oninitialized form datasource event handler and wrote the below code.

but it doesn't seem to be working.

Hi All,

I have an issue in one of my projects. Items have been posted and showing chargeable in Posted Transactions. But it is not showing in Invoice proposals, so i am not able to invoice it. Could you please help me to find out the issue?

Hi

I have a Vat combination (Vendor - V1) and Item=I2 which gives a combination C2. The Vat % for the vat code C2 is 0.

When I capture a invoice journal with vendor on 1 line and item on another line , the posted vat is not generated on all lines.

Can anyone help?

when i try to scan barcode from that receipt it'll be to hard recognize or (read) by device (SYMBOL LS2208)

Is there a report in AX that will show me the total value (cost) of all inventory that was received on a given date?  If no report exists, how would I determine this information?

I have a batch job which is not executing and stills in waiting state.

with a little Research in this issue i found two reasons. 

please help me telling the correct one

-either the AOS server assigned to the batch group is not marked as the batch server or else

-the batch group is not assigned to the batch job.

please help
