Is there any standard template or document available which gives the information about each data prerequisites for each scenario/ transactions to execute in AX version 2009/2012/7 ?
Example : Creation of Vendor account .
Data perquisites : Vendor group, delivery terms, mode of delivery, terms of payment, method of payment, address format, zip codes, number sequences...
Any light on this data requisitions for each transaction of all modules ?
I am trying to find a solid comparison of the the two modules. My understanding both are the same, financially as liabilities entry and functionally user can create Invoice Journal in General Journal.

We created a copy of the CustCollectionReport to create a custom copy. When we run this report we get Parameter does not exist on the report.
How can I resolve this issue.
I have restarted, SSRS, AOS, redeployed the report several times. Also dropped the report for the reportserver and redeployed the report. Did a FULL CIL. Restarted the entire box, none of these help. What am I doing wrong.

I am a beginner to development in AX 7. So I apologize if this is something I should know. I wanted to create an entity to extract some data from AX 7. I created a solution and project and then added an entity using the Wizard. I wanted to start simple so I added the InvenTable and EcoResProduct.
When I build the project I get the following error:
Error A reference to 'Dynamics.AX.Ledger, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' is required to compile this module.
Now I did some digging and see that I could import some of the references under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions. Most of the references referred to in the warnings are there, however the Dynamics.AX.Ledger, from the error, is not.
Did i miss installing some library?

It has emerged me a problem trying to calculate taxes (aka tmptaxworkTrans) of an older purchase packing slip.
The problem is that parmtables (parmtable, parmline) of the document were eliminated long ago.
I can not calculate the tax manually because it may now taxes on the line are not the same as in the order.
Nor I can see in the distribution of taxes amounts I seek.
What if I have a vendpackingslipjour table, a tables and vendpackingsliptrans vendpackingslipversion that does not point to any site.

I am trying to debug a batch job. And in the visual studio, I am wondering why this Ax32Serv.exe can't be attached? I am thinking that this maybe a user access but I am already a Systems administrator to the AOS server. Also my visual studio already ran as administrator.
Let me know what else I can check.

I have created one AIF Document Services ( using LedgerPurchaseInvoiceServices). And its working fine. But it create new Voucher for every journal Lines. So if i am going to validate my journal it giving me error that your lines are not balanced by amount as it creates different voucher for every line.

We are upgrading our solution from AX7 RTW to AX7 Update1.
I have successfully executed the upgrade task to upgrade our solution from AX7 RTW to AX7 Update1.
Under the Project\Releases I have the RTW folder(7.0.1265.3015) with the old RTW code and a new folder created as Releases\7.0.1265.27075_U2_2016-09-06T08.06.03 folder.
Going with the naming convention - U2 is Update2 , but the AX7 version 7.0.1265.27075 looks like an Update 1 Application version(7.0.1265.23014).
Can anyone please confirm which version is it?

Our company recently implemented AX 2012. Lots of financial related work is done by an external tax advisor who is using the German DATEV system. Does AX offer a kind of interface to DATEV or the chance to export all financials (journals, invoices, etc.) in the DATEV-specific file format? Or can AX can be customized to meet this need?
