Inventory reserved but partial order getting released
Our client uses Auto-release to warehouse batch job from Warehouse management - Periodic by specifying a range of sales orders. Randomly few orders go into 'Partial released' status and does not get released. We verified that WHSSalesLine table has less quantities from SalesLine table and hence partial release. We are not able to replicate this in our DEV/TEST environments. Can someone please explain in what scenarios WHSSalesLine will not match with SalesLine table causing the partial release.

Process Manufacturing Yield
Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone has experience with manufacturing yields that vary frequently. How does AX handle a variable yield. If a finished product requires a certain yield - but the production order for it does not yield the expected amount? Is a new production order generated??
Even further on this topic, the products that we have the most variation on yield are actually intermediate ingredients - so like subformulas - how can AX handle a production order for an intermediate (possibly a pegged supply) product - that does not yield enough for the finished good - will AX automatically generate a production order for the additional amount needed?? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

NEW INSTALL BEING SO DIFFICULT
Hello,
I was installing AX in Virtual Box, never work because I did not have SharePoint now I have SharePoint and everytime I run the EXE file, is opening a Microsft Visual Studio.
I know the instalation is working in other machines but not in my Virtual ....what should I do??

AX Functionality
User cannot move fields into a grid or alter his menu screens (sample screen shot) . Is there a permissions setting somewhere preventing the function? His settings/groups mimic others that are not having the same issue.

Unpick item on transfer order - AX2009
Hi
I need to unpick a single line on a transfer order. The inventory item has the status picked, and the handling status is Completed, but the Function "unpick" on the pick list registration is greyed out.
Can anyone tell me what the process to unpick this line is please?

Screen Layout Designer Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Details:
-Using AX VM Demo
-This only occurs on Screen Layouts that have Application Type = Retail POS. Modern POS application type does not have this issue.
-This occurs when creating a new screen layout or using an existing layout.
-Re-registered TillLayoutDesigner.DLL and all .ocx files.
-POS does launch but screen layout is distorted.
-Compared "RetailTill*" tables between working and non-working AX instances. They appear to be exact.
-Rebooted AX server several times.

Missing one of "Transfer order transactions" in "Net Requirements" form.(AX 2012)
I have one issue about Net requirement results in Master scheduling.
I ran Master scheduling and then I couldn't find one of 2 transactions in “Transfer order” in "Net requirements" view. (refere to screen shot below)
(Of course, Transfer order is not posted shipment beside received, And NOT check “Coverage by dimension about all storage dimensions”)
step1) Run Master scheduling -> "only one transaction (=Transfer order shipment)" in Net requirement form.
step2) Run Master scheduling in Net requirement form -> "Appear 'missing' transactions (=Transfer order receive)"
<Question>
1) why didn't calculate one of "transfer order transactions" in Master scheduling?
2) If "step 2 MP" is correct, "step 1 MP" is bug?

AX Connector to CRM: Mapping custom entity with relationship
Hi all,
I created a custom entity SalesLines in CRM and had relationship N:1 with Order entity and I want to integrate with a custom table in AX (I also create SalesLine table in AX and have relationship with Order)
But when I create new map (Order to Sales Order Service), I cannot find mapping field like "All SalesLine"
How can I create this mapping field (something like "All Order Details") ?
Can anyone help me with this situation ?

Journal Voucher Grid Field Visible
I want to hide a Grid Column in Journal Voucher if the Offset Account Type is "Bank".
I should write in init() LedgerJournalTransDaily, check for Offset Account Type in lines, and if found Bank type, then show the field in grid else invisible. But how to play with args() in this case? Please help me with code.
I did when adding new lines in Journal Voucher, but this field should be invisible for existing journals whose Offset Account Type is not "Bank".
The below code i have written for OffsetAccount modified()

Journal Voucher Field should appear in Voucher Transaction List form.
Dear All,
I have a field "Ref Project No." in Journal Voucher grid(Form: LedgerJournalTrans).
I want to this field to be shown in the Voucher Transactions List (Form: LedgerTransVoucher), based on the Journal Number.
So for this, I need to add new DS for table LedgerJournalTrans to get "Ref Project No." from it?
But this gave me error: The name ledgerJournalTrans is already used in an outer scope.
The grid in LedgerTransVoucher is using the GeneralJournalEntry table.
The field which I want to show in this voucher trans. is in LedgerJournalTrans table. How do I link the tables?
Or should I write a query to get the value from LedgerJournalTrans table and fill the field in LedgerTransVoucher in init() ? If this should be done, how I can proceed for it?
What should be done in this scenario? Thank you in advance.!

Allow logon locally rights to a user..
Hi all,
When I am not able to give rights to a user "Allow locally logon" in group policy.
Its showing me a warning msg and does not allow me to modify it. (See Image)
