We are thinking of changing our architecture, more specifically to use Amazon Web Services RDS (Relational Database Service) replace SQL Server.
Can this happen? Can we integrate? Has anyone does this before or is doing this?

Unable to generate Preactions for item related changes in AX 2012 R2
Hi Community, for a couple of days we were trying to configure A-Jobs for Item related changes to our client who is using Ax 2012 R2. The issue we are facing is that the preactions are not getting generated for item related changes, but for customer and store related changes the preactions are working fine. We checked the table distribution and everything is fine. Am I missing something please help..?

Associate worker to a site and warehouse
We need a worker to be associated to a specific site and warehouse. People from different sites can submit a purchase requisition (thru Enterprise Portal) for the same items. On requisition line items we need the site and warehouse to default to worker's site/warehouse. I am not seeing anything in HR or Procurement modules to accomplish this. We are using AX 2012 R3.

Ship Complete is Visible but Greyed out on the Sales Order Header form AX 2012 R3
The Ship Complete, Automatic notification and cancellation exempt, and expedite are all greyed out. I assume I must be missing an check box in a parameter somewhere but after looking in all modules, I can't seem to find it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

1) Object Server 01: Failure when updating LastUpdatedTime in SysServerSessions for AOS-SERVERNAME@2712 server.
2) Object Server 01: Fatal error when updating LastUpdatedTime in SysServerSessions for AOS-SERVERNAME@2712 server. Server will shutdown.
3) Object Server 01: Exiting main session with 1000 exitcode.
4) Die Beschreibung für die Ereignis-ID "180" aus der Quelle "Microsoft Dynamics AX" wurde nicht gefunden. Entweder ist die Komponente, die dieses Ereignis auslöst, nicht auf dem lokalen Computer installiert, oder die Installation ist beschädigt. XGantt ActiveX version
Good afternoon everyone
We were experiencing some strange behavior with the XGantt ActiveX component and after checking Netronic's website we saw that this was actually a bug with they fixed in build 4.400.0.735
We are running AX 2012 R2 and our version of the XGantt ActiveX is 4.400.0.26
I wasn't able to find any hotfix relating to the XGantt ActiveX.
Does anyone know which version of the ActiveX comes in the subsequent AX versions?
Or if there's any hotfix available for this component?

VAT on gross profit
Hi,
For a special accounting situation I need to calculate VAT on the difference between my sales price and the item costs.
Example: Sales Price = 500, Purchase Price = 300 => Difference = 200.
200 / (1+tax rate) * tax rate = VAT to be posted.
For a tax rate of 10% I thus need to post 18.18 as VAT.
Is this something that can be setup in AX?

Running Automated task in Workflow
Hi all,
I'm creating an Automated task in my workflow, put after 1 of my approval steps. Question is, is Automated task only run if the outcome of my approval is Yes (approved). How if I also want to run it when it is Rejected as well ?
The task is only to send email. Why I created automated task is because I need the program to find first my custom field consist of an email address. So it need to run provided the Workflow Approved or Rejected.
Currently I noticed and presumed why my Automated task didn't run is because when my workflow is rejected, the workflow status will still "Pending". Is that the cause ?

Credit Note Due Date
The Due Date on Credit Notes is set as the Invoice Date + Terms of Payment offset. This is not normal business practice; Due Date of a Credit Note should be Invoice Date.
Is there a setting that I have missed, or do I need to correct this in code?

Invoice not Approved before Posting
Hi, would really love if anyone has any idea how to solve my issue..
I entered a new invoice entry in "Invoice pool excl. posting" and posted it WITHOUT selecting the "Approved" check box. Now it's not even visible in the vendor account Open transaction editing view. Does anyone know if there is a way to approve or get rid of the transaction so it's not showing on the vendor account transactions?
