Hi, I am facing this issue when I click on Receipt Button in Journal Menu in AX POS 2012 to view the existing receipts, it shows the error code 1650 amount. I have checked the printer settings, Configuration file but couldn't find anything. Need Help.

Report or list for rebates in Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3
Does anybody knows if there is a report available in AX 2012 R2/R3 that lists all rebate records related to a credit note? I guess every customer who get a credit note for rebates by the end of the year need a document with an overview of all related orders/rebate records.

VSS with CU6
Hello,
We are using AX 2012 R2 CU6 with a part of the CU7. We can't use the full CU7 because of addons not running with CU7.
Meanwhile, I would like to know if I could install the VSS feature coming with the CU7. As we are using DPM, it would be a good idea to get this feature working.

Project budget / cost tab / filtering Activity field
In Project budget / cost tab there is a field called activity in the grid . The lookup list view which appears when clicking this field does not have all activities link to selected project, please check the screenshot below. AX2012R3 -Include Generic currency functionality
Hi,
I would like to use the include generic currency functionality for the Sales Line Discount agreements however, on the trade agreement form when I select the relation type ‘Line discount (sales)’ the ‘Include generic currency’ checkbox becomes greyed out.
S&M> Journals> Price/discount agreements journals> Lines:
On the Microsoft training manuals, under Generic Currency section, it is clearly mentioned that the Generic currency functionality can be used for Sales line discount.
The below screen shot has been taken from Microsoft official manuals (80306_AX2012_ENUS_DAT- Chapter 3: Customer and Vendor agreements> Section Generic Currency> Page 3-15)

Manual Activity number in WBS project
Hi,
We require the activity numbers in every project to be numbered like 1,2,3.....etc. We can accept the format like projectno-1,projectno-2mprojectno-3 etc... which will be unique in the system. Can we achieve this with manual activity number entry at the WBS structure. We have to share this job numbers with client and all factory depend on it and we can't accept the default numbers. please advice.

Project and Sales Quotations, Opportunities & Forecasting
Hi
Trying to understand how Project and Sales quotations link to Forecasting, and with the Quotation Probability thrown into the mix. This is where I get to, would appreciate confirmation about my thought process, or otherwise. Thanks
Sales Quotation does not link to AX forecasts. If you create an opportunity, with a probability, then create a sales quotation from the opportunity, MRP could give you some planned orders based on the Master plan set to include quotations, and set the probability threshold. Thus, in this situation, the closest you get to 'Forecasting' would be use of a delivery schedule on the Quotation ,and planned orders off the back of the probability threshold defined in the Master Plan.
Project Quotations have an option to Transfer to Forecast, so this could be used to transfer the project quotation directly into a Demand Forecast. There is no link to the probability % in this scenario. Alternatively, you could use Project quotations the same as Sales quotations and drive a forecast off the back of the probability, the same as the sales quotation above.
Is my thinking correct, if so, are there any times when you would use Sales Quotations over Project quotations and vice versa? Would a Project quotation be typically used for a MTO scenario? If not, could someone just help clear the fog.

SSRS paper size
Hi Gurus
i got a problem like this in these days, The paper size used by the printer is 21cm(width) X 14cm(height).
Portrait: 21cm X 14cm (width X height)
Landscape: 14cm X 21cm (width X height)
If i set the SSRS report paper size as 21cm(width) X 14cm(height) , the report editor will change the setting to "Landscape" automatically, which has the conflict with the printer settings. so the only way that i can keep it in the "Portrait" mode is setting the height larger than the width. is there a way to fix this problem.
Question 2:
suppose i'm using the paper (21cm X 14cm) at the moment, when i design the SSRS in the VS designer, do i have to set the paper size as 21cm X 14cm as well? can i zoom in the designer, which make the designing easier.
Question 3:
What's the difference between the body with and paper width?

Operation level issue in ax

I am having issues in production module,suppose if an item needs to 4 different operations,i have defined the 4 different operation in routing.
when we close first operation with good qty as 4 then next operation qty should be same or less than the previous operation but now ax allow even more than 4 qty. how to resolve this issues

Setting UP User Logging Password Reset through Enterprise Portal in AX2009
Dear Friends ,
as per our company policy we applied password expiration policy via GPO and so then the user password will expire every 72 days.
Our issue is when password expires user needs to logging to Server and then update new password .most of the time Issue is Management Level users using EP in mobile device and they cannot change password by logging to Server.Is there any development /Modifications to allow them to update/reset their password via Enterprise Portal?

Production Report as finished
Suppose i have already enable the quarantine for the production, once the items that have already been report as finished, they will be moved to the "Quarantine warehouse" immediately.
If quarantine controller think these items don't meet the requirement, these items should be returned back to the production team. but the point is once they are report as finished, they will be in the physical inventory, is there a way remove them from physical inventory, and we ask the production team to report again ?

miscellaneous charge auto calculation for sales order.
commission charge for service provided on sales orders are manually getting calculated. for example, if it's credit card payment.
we have an item called svc as a service item for credit card. sales clerk add a line to a sales order and manually calculate this commission fees onto the sales order. There is a risk of human error of miscalculation of charge here.
just wondering if we could use the misc charge section to add the commission. Could this calculate this charge automatically on the invoice total.

it would affect costing na.. i want to restrict the no of good quantities entering in each operation should be dependant on previous operation because for an eg.if an operation finished with good qty as 8 this 8qty will pass to next operation so that it can produce only 4this pass to next opr so that it produce only 1 which is the fg.

when I entry any records into table for the first time it is "1" after that if i change any modifications it will change to any random number of 10 digits.
what is the use of this one.
