Hi I want to create a form with 2 tables CardPool and BeneficaryonMCAccount.

BeneficaryOnMCAccount has a relation to the CardPool by the field MCAccountNum

Now I want to have 2 possible filters (always only one active):

1. show all cardPool entries (and the related  BeneficaryOnMCAccount entries) where field CardHolder is empty

2. show all cardPool entries where the field "BeneficalOwner" on BeneficaryOnMCAccount Table is empty

How can I do this? I created 2 ranges but it looks like s.th. is wrong there

When I modify my model's current version (via powershell or axutil) the value shown in the "Installed models" form flips back to the original value.  I've tried setting the version -> Restart AOS with no luck. 

CMDs I've tried:

              AxUtil.exe edit /model:MyModel /manifest:Version=1.2.3.4

              as well as

              Edit-AXModelManifest -Model MyModel -ManifestProperty "Version=1.2.3.4"

If I run either of those commands and then follow with the corresponding "get" for the same property/modelmanifest I can see that the value has been updated in the ModelStore.  If I then launch the ax client and open the "Models installed" form then the value flips back to the original value.  This occurs even if the aos has been restarted.

We had a power outage that seemed to have an effect on some of our data and we were trying to rebuild the balances using the Financial Dimension Set form.

The rebuild balances button on the Financial Dimension Set form is not enabled. We tracked this down to the DimensionHierarchy.FocusState table field. We found it was set to In Process. After changing it manually in the record to Initialized we were able to run the Rebuild Balances. Is it ok to manually modify this field. Are there any other steps to be performed?

When entering budget register entries, it's necessary to select an amount type associated to the amount entered against a combination of financial dimensions and/or main account.

What is the budget amount type used for?

How does it influence system behavior?

What does it mean to select a type of revenue vs expense?

What does it mean if you enter an expense type againt a main account of type revenue? Vice-versa?

I have a need to be able to dynamically build a query in X++. I can do so and make it work. My question is:

Is there any way, using the Query classes, to get the entire result set in 1 buffer. I understand the:

While(queryRun.Next())
{
    common = queryRun.get(tableName2Id('InventTable'));
}

but this just does it record by record. I am wanting the entire result table at once. Any ideas? I have been searching for a long time.

I have AX 2012 R2 CU7.   When a user logs in via terminal services and goes to print a document they need to reset their default printer each time.  We use printer redirection so they can print locally (many locations).   Is there a setting either in TS or AX to set so a user can set it once and not have to set each time they log in.

I already checked the License Configuration & the Post dated check is marked.

Hi,

A question regaridng AX2012 R3.

I have set up a Project contract with two funding Sources. I have made two billing rules, so that one spesific category is to be funded (invoiced) to one customer and all the remaining transactions (all) to go to the other customer. Using priority 1 and 2. When generating the Project proposal the dialogbox shows All in the Funding Source Field, which is promissing. But when the proposal is generated both transaction appear on the first customer that was added on the contract. What am I missing out on here? When I was to training on R2 we could do this.

I'm need advice about my current store. We already have Microsoft Dynamic Retail Management System, but we need to fill this feature that RMS not have, such as:
1. Multiple item price, ex : summer promotion or 1 year contract customer.
2. My Sales person can see our item in tablet.
3. Expired date for can food.
4. Multi store, ex if store A & store B have item X out of stock, then our Main Store order it from vendor, not store A & B.

I created a sales order with 13 lines. All the lines are fine except two of them. Those two lines have qty of 1 per each on sales order line but there is no inventory transaction. The customer was charged with the sales amount but inventory was not reduces for those two items and I see no inventory transaction related to that sales order. When I go to invoice journal those two lines have contribution ratio of 100.
