I am running an ax report custshippednotinvoiced report from dev AX pointing to prod ssrs and it shows the report after 1 hour( huge report). However when I try to run this from AX prod to Prod SSRS it times out after 10 min with below error

Use Dynamics AX client configuration utility to change WCF configuration values.

I checked the query binding on \Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin

on DEV and it set to 10 min  same as prod. So my question is ,why is it not timimng out dev vs prod. Any help appreciated.

My store currency is USD but customers are allowed to deposit in their accounts using multiple payment modes. i.e. customer can deposit in USD as well as EUR.

'Pay Currency' is not supported for account deposit. so any help for standard or workaround to cover this scenario is highly appreciated.

We are looking at advanced production scheduling in 2012 R2 and are looking for opinions on 3^rd party options.  Our operations are primarily light assembly and we will be scheduling people in work cells vs. machine time.  Has anyone gone down this path?

When using Edit in Grid on the Released Products form, if I launch the BOM Version form, each time I change to a new Released Product, the BomVersion form will update to show the bom information of the new record.  What controls this functionality?  I would like to duplicate it on the ProdTable and ProdBom forms.  Currently, when I launch the ProdBom from from Edit In Grid of the ProdTable form, the first bom displays, but the form is blank for all other records.

When in Dynamics AX 2012 CRM users can see all CRM contacts and they can also see HR contacts.  While they cannot see the addresses / phone numbers since they are marked private in HR, they can still see that Contact A is associated with Employee B.  Is there a configuration we can update that can stop them from seeing the HR / personal contacts or is there a special security setting we are missing?

Hi, I have an approval sequence set up that hasn't escalated after its 2 day respite. Does anyone have any idea what the usual cause for this is? Its not approval engine as others that day time were all ok?

Hi All,

In my company, we are planning to do Load testing in Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU10. For this we are planning to use " Performance Benchmark Software Development Toolkit (SDK) for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012" for load testing.

Does anyone has any idea about it ? Has anyone used it ? What are the pron and cons of this ?

Hello All,

I have five date fields in a form to be validated when user give values. For which i have used validate write method, its working fine but getting triggered when i close the form.  But i want to validate each field at a time when user gives value. So i used Modified method and thrown error, if the given value is wrong for each field. But for this case,

once after throwing error, its allowing user to proceed with wrong values if given. So which method or what should i do to get my requirement fulfilled?

It should validate each field at a time and also it should allow the user to proceed once after the given value is correct!

Can anyone please tell me how can I debug the code under SRSReportRun class to check what values are coming in printReportToEmail() method when running sending reports through emails.

Do I need to debug it through visual studio and what should be the value for Execute business operations in CIL ?

Dear All,

Hope you all fine,

in inventory management > Setup > Inventory >Item model group ,

under physical update , We can find Picking requirements check.

In my case i don't need this option, but after i change it , some thing happened i don't now what it is and this check return automatically checked.

Any one have an idea about this case.

Hi All.

 

I want to know if it’s possible to setup multiple allocation terms on the main account with each allocation term at 100%. Currently AX gives the error that you can’t exceed 100% of the allocation. In my case I would like to do that as I allocate it just too new dimensions due to default dimensions setup on master data that can’t be changed.

Hi everyone, 

I have a issue in AX 2009 Sale Order.

I have a SO for 2000 kg. I created line for 2000kg. For packing slip, i picked 2000 kg and posted packing slip. However, after packing slip also, my SO is having status of Open Order. Now if i go in Inquiries--> Packing Slip, it shows me Ordered 1 ,Delivered 1. But if i check the Item Master Transactions, it shows me 2000 deducted against same SO.

Any idea on how this happened?? How do i rectify this and go ahead for invoicing ??
