First time post, so be gentle guys.
A user requirement has been raised to allow the line numbers on a sales order to be resequenced. The situation arises when ordrs are received from an externally hosted web site and imported into AX or sometimes orders are input directly by internal staff. The nature of some of our products is that they logically belong together so if the lines are on the order such that the products are not grouped together in the correct order, complaints are received from customers when they receive order confirmations, pack lists, invoices.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Any suggestions about how to work around or code around this would be welcome. We are currently deleting and inserting lines to change the order.
