In the Ax version of AX2009, data and code was separated with the code in .AOD files and data in the Database. In Ax 2012 they are not separated. Has anyone worked out a way I can take all the metadata infomation from one database into a another database? I have an AX2012 CU2 environment which I am upgrading up to Feature Pack, Cu3 and an additional 94 hotfixes. It is very time consuming having to run AXUPDATE.exe so many times in both the DEV environment and then repeat it in the PROD environment. I would ideally like to export the SYP,FPK and FPP layers between the environments. I have tried AXUTIL but that only applies to models?
