AX2012 Carry forward project budgets at year-end

Hi Project experts

I am delivering a training course on AX2012 projects to an audience of AX consultants, so 'expecting a kicking' as a colleague puts it.

I have managed to put together a demonstration of every Project feature, including the most obscure budgeting and forecasting options, EXCEPT for 'Carry forward project budgets at year-end'. 

I am using the latest AX2012 FP demo data in CEU company, and I have set the Project parameter to enable this, but it refuses to retrieve any budgets for transfer.

Any tips welcome: even an assurance that you have made it work once would be encouraging!
