We have added a custom subtab on the General Ledger Parameters form.
I've been asked to customize the security to control who can change these parameters but have found no way to change security on a subform.
There are two permissions on this form:
LedgerParametersMaintain (Full Control)
LedgerParametersView (Read Only)
These appear to control all tabs on the form and are assigned to various roles and duties. So a user has either read only or full control of all tabs on the form.
I noted that a form like this one does not have Menuitems for the various subtabs, so no there is no clear way as to how permissions can be controlled at this level.
Any suggestions?
