Hi,
Our customer receives the message "account number for transaction type exchange rate loss/profit does not exist" When running the G/L exchange adjustment job
The ledger accounts have been setup on the currencies and we have worked out that it seems to be for the EUR however the setup is correct. If we post all the other currenies it posts fine and also if we only select EURO we get no error message.
I search various blogs and found a solution to this issue which said that if you set up the accounts in the base currency this resolves the issue I have tried this and yes it posts without any errors.
Now I have never needed to setup account on the base currency has anyone else come across this issue and is this the solution?
I have checked partner source but cannot see any on this issue.
If anyone has come across this issue please can you tell if this is the only solution. BTW the customer is on AX 4.0 SP4
