I have been trying to find an official Microsoft Documentation, or actually any documentation pertaining to basic Enterprise Portal Development.

Which i believe is a little advanced. I have zero to none development experience with Enterprise Portal Development/customization thus the need for reading materials to do EP development.
Would appreciate it if you could point me to some pages, video clips that shows basic development on enterprise portal.
