Small Company Logos look bad... [AX 2012]

We've been trying to get a company logo into ax that prints decently onto our reports, but we are having some trouble... allow me to elaborate:

First, from what I can see all AX 2012 reports Auto-Size the company logo by default.  So, in an effort to avoid going through and editing every single report, we'd like to get a logo that shows up the size we want it to be, which is to say about 2.125 inches wide by about 1.625 high.  We've tried exporting the vector image of our company logo at various sizes and dpi, and what I've found is that AX will render the logo (on screen and when printed) based on the resolution of that image.  That is to say, I believe ax is taking the logo and setting the size of it seemingly based on a standard of about 96dpi... so if we export an image that is 2.125 inches wide at 300dpi (which comes out to 637.5 pixels), ax will take that and say "this image is 637.5 pixels, lets render that at 96 dpi and make it 6.6 inches wide".

The point then is: we need a logo that is a set amount of pixels wide... around 200 pixels wide to get the 2.125 inches at 96 pixels per inch...

Are you with me so far?
The problem is when exporting our logo (which has some small sub-text), no matter what settings we choose (in terms of format, quality, anti aliasing, etc) it always comes out blurry and some of the text is illegible. If I turn it into pixel art it looks really terrible on paper... way too blocky.

Okay, so my question is... is there a way to make this work without going through every report and setting the image "Sizing" to "FitProportional"? If I set the sizing and use a high-rez image it will size down and look good... but then as I said I'd have to edit every ssrs report.  Is there a way to set the default company logo dpi or something?  Any advice would be great.

Thanks!
