AX POS R2 transaction sync to AX Retail R2

Hi,
We have upgraded a test environment to AX2009 Retail-R2 including the POS.
After creating some test transactions at the POS we are not able to poll and post these new transactions to the upgraded AX2009-R2 database.
We have found that the transactions at the POS start over with transaction #1, #2, etc and, of course, these already exist in the upgraded AX2009 database.

Is there anyway to update the transaction number sequence at the POS so it accurately reflects the sequence found in the AX database transaction tables?
We were going to try creating an N-job to push the AX 'TransactionTable' and related tables back to the POS but maybe there is a better way...
