Looking for any advices - I have problems with EP under AX 2012. In general on all instances I am using (2012, 2012pre-r2, 2012r2) seem to be present, but - what is morst interesting - biggest issue I have on instance taken from partner source (virtual machine image).
Problem is that:
- EP is _extremely_ slow; any activies there takes lot of time and patience
- Same activities done directly in AX are quite fast
- Example of the above - questionnaires in both, AX and EP; same questionnaire filled on AX (6 questions) is really fast, no delays during changing pages/questions, while when filling same questionnaire in EP - disaster; each change between question takess 3-5 minutes, in 75% EP timeout messages are shown
- Problem I thought may be root cause was w3pw.exe process grow - so I tried to set limits on it in IIS, but only help is that this process is not taking 100% of free memory now, but EP responses did not improved
- Machine is, as I told, MS virtual image - so I believed all conf stuff should be ok there
- Image is running on quite fast hardware, has 16gb of RAM
Any ideas what may be root cause of having these sloooooooooow responses from EP? Are there any parameters (EP? AX? IIS?) to be set/checked? Anybody maybe has luckily solved similar issues?
