Hello Guys,

I'm Mostafa Gamal from Egypt and I'm new to the community, and this is my first question, and I hope experts here help me to find the best career.

I'm planning to become MCT for Dynamics AX, I'm already certified MS Dynamics AX 2009 Installation & Configuration, and I've moved to Dynamics AX 2012, and I'm eager to learn everything, I like mastering, but at the same time I like to do anything in a proffessional way.

I'm hesitated between Axapta Functional and Development Career, and to help you answering me, here is a brief of my resume.

  • 2000-2010: Visual Basic 5 to Visual Basic .Net 2008 developer, build several business software and engineering software.
  • 2007: Authoring a Book in Developing Engineering Applications using Visual Basic 2008, and teach it  as a course in the college.
  • 2008: Graduated from Faculty of Engineering, production department, and worked for a short time as instructor in the college.
  • 2008: moved to Business Processes analysis and modeling and I have good experience in Quality Assurance, ISO 9001:2008.
  • 2010-2011: Implementation of SharePoint 2007.
  • 2011: Studing Dynamics AX 2009 Installation and Financial introduction.
  • 2012: moved to Dynamics AX 2012.

I want to become MCT for Dynamics AX 2012, but which track I should focus with my capabilities, functional or development, and if I select the functional track, I'm from Engineering backgroung what modules should I select to become a successful MCT, Does MCT concentrate in a specific modules or master most modules, and consider Egypt constraints if any.

Thank you.
