AX 2012 R2 PayrollEarningsImportService

I am currently implementing Dynamics AX 2012 HCM with a client who would like to import payroll earnings from a separate time sheet application. I am looking for information on the new payroll earnings import services to see if this option will work for the client. Can anyone point me to information on AX import specifications and how I would go about setting this up? Client is interested in importing Project and Funding source information along with the payroll earnings information?

Any information or direction to resources would be greatly appreciated.
