I'm using Dynamics AX 2012 and inovled in writing an extract for P&L report.
We have around 235,314 records in DIMENSIONATTRIBUTEVALUECOMBINATION table, out of 50,375 records has the proper recid values in MainAccount field in that table, where as 184,939 has no values. I'm not sure re. the source of data population into this table, as there might have been some data migration activity happened which indirectly populates this table.
I understand that the relation between DIMENSIONATTRIBUTEVALUECOMBINATION and MAINACCOUNT is based on the MainAccount field in DIMENSIONATTRIBUTEVALUECOMBINATION table, so should the 180k odd records needs to be fixed with proper recid values in MainAccountfield or it can be ignored?
