I am trying to create a Reporting Tree in Management Reporter(MR) and I have the dimensions Location and Service Line setup in AX. When I create the Reporting Tree in MR it does not create an entry for each Location + Service Line Combination and it does not pick up all the Locations either. My guess at this point is that it is picking up only the Locations and Locations + Service Line combinations that have values posted. Have any of you run into this situation, if so, other than having to manually add the missing dimensions is there an other option, is there a reason why Management Reporter is acting like that.
If you manually add Dimensions to the Reporting Tree in MR. How do you sync for new dimensions added in AX. I am hoping it is not a manual process. the other option is to have the user create the Reporting Tree right before they run the reports. Have any of you run into this issue with MR and AX. Any input will be appreciated.
