How can we change the Depreciation run date for fixed assets after we closed the year?

I have tried to change depreciation run date after closing  year 2011 , that already i didn't make depreciation for it.

so when i make the depreciation transaction by proposal depreciation for 2012 it  takes the 

transaction for the year 2011 and 2012 .

please help
