On AX2009, have a scenario where Subassembly is being made in Site A, and Finished Item in Site B.
Users have applied Site and Warehouse Codes to these Bills of Materials.
The Subassembly has Site A on all BOM lines .
The Finished Item has Site B on all BOM lines.
When I perform BOM calculation on the Finished Item - I am getting no cost feeding through from the Subassembly. I don't have too much issue with that. The Subassembly Cost for Site A is not available to the Finished Item defined for Site B.
I THOUGHT that if I removed Site from the BOM lines for the Subassembly, that the Finished Item should use the cost.
HOWEVER .. the only way I could get a good cost was by removing Site and Warehouse from both Bills of Material.
Has anyone else struck this issue and if so, what did you do about it please?
