I designed the Balance sheet in Row definition form and trying to get this with Balance sheet report in Reports.
Is it possible to get Balance sheet report in Accounting Curreny and as well as in Reporting currency in AX-2012?.
I designed the Balance sheet report for DELL entity
As per the client's request I need to generate the Balance sheet report in Accounting currency and in Reporting currency.
How I tried to resolve this issue:-
1. Before generating the balance sheet report, I clicked on the currency (USD) and selected an another currency: Euro Then the currency is changed from USD to Euro.
2. Path to generate the report for balance sheet: General ledger>Reports>Transactions>Financial statement.
3. Now it has not given the report values in Euro currency. Still it is showing in USD Currency only.
· I checked the Default exchange rate type: AB_Transaction.
· I checked the Exchange rates in Exchange rate type form for AB_Transaction.
· I checked the From currency: EUR and To currency: USD
· I have given the From date: 1/8/2013 and To date: Today’s date.
· I checked in Currencies form for EURO currency and USD Currency there is selected the Conversion check box is selected.
· I checked in Main accounts form in General ledger module. I verified the ledger accounts balances with USD Currency. And I changed USD to EURO and verified the ledger accounts balances. This is working. Values/amounts are changing whenever I changed the Currency.
I was struggling a lot on this. I have investigated and gone through manuals also. I contacted to Functional experts but it was not giving the solution.
I was tried in AX-2009 application just to check once, then it is working fine.
It would be very appreciable if you give any thoughts?. It is very urgent. Plz
