There is a test-yourself exercise with the following data; Item 8001 has standard dimensions (HxW) 8x4
In configuration BOM for item 7014, item 8001 is found to have dimensions (HxW) 3.2x1.32
Hence the measurement for height factor on 8001 in the particular BOM is 0.4 (=3.2/8) and for width 0.33 (=1.32/4)
In the exercise walkthrough a value is entered in the field "Constant" with no explanation. The value is 0.32. How is this value of 0.32 derived?
