I don't know if this is a bug, or if some people actually want this, but here is something I'd like to submit to this forum to get other people's opinions
In the Human Resources module, I create a Job called "Test Job" then go to "Maintain Versions" and make sure it is valid from Jan 1st 2010 to Dec 31st 2010.
Then, still in the Human Resources module, I create a new position effective from Jan 1st 2013 to Never. In the Job combo box of the position, the "Test Job" shows up and I can create a valid position based on an expired job.
I find this does not make sense. Maybe if someone could give me their input on this please, before I submit as being a bug.
Behavior observed in AX2012, and on the AX2012R2 Contoso machine.
