I've got an SSRS report setup that cherrypicks fields from a few tables related to items and their barcodes to generate a set of CSV's used by an external label and barcode printing software.
This works ok except that it inserts an additional blank line at the end of the CSV and the names of the data fields at the top of the CSV, neither of which I want and both of which would cause the external software to behave incorrectly. How can I remove these lines?
Currently the report outputs to a single line table in the report design. Headers and footers are disabled. The report is supplied by a data provider class and is called through an extension to the controller class with an additional method to block the dialogue, set the print settings and call the report 1 to 4 times with different parameters for each depending on the selections made in a new form.
