Hi,
we're searching for information about Data Warehousing in AX and especially the following questions are important :
- Does AX inlude a full featured MSSQL Server including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS - and are those services full accessable like on a SQL Server Instance ?
- Is it possible to run a Data Warehouse there (and OLAP Cubes under SQL Server) with mixed Data from AX and imported external Data ?
- In AX - Is the Tabular Model with Columnstore Index available for the Data Warehouse functionalities too ?
- In AX - should we seperate the production ERP Instances from the Data Warehouse instance (physically or by quotas, polices, etc.) or is it possbile and practical to run them on the same host ? (I know normally this is not best practice, but I am not sure if it could be ok right now with this new solution)
