Hi All,
I am running into a problem with the setup of a AX 2009 client. The servers (AOS/SQL/SharePoint) are located in Active Directory domain A. The clients are to be located in domain B. Both domains are NOT part of the same forest. To make matters more complicated the hoster who is providing the environments has altered the security on domain B so that users from domain A are not able to read from the Active Directory in Domain B.
A two-way trust has been set up between the two domains, the servers and clients are in separate networks, and the firewall has been opened up between the clients and servers.
Problem: When trying to start the AX 2009 client I get Unable to connect to the AOS. I can connect via RDP to the AOS server, as well as ping it. I tried it both with users from domain A and B from a client in domain B, both give the same error.
As is natural in these cases, the hoster points to us stating there is something wrong on the AX side of things. Any ideas what might be missing?
Any help would be appreciated!
Regards
Dennes
