I changed an existing out of box SSRS report in Accounts receivable reporting section. I made the changes in visual studio saved them,built the solution and deployed them onto reporting server.So,these are questions I have.
1.First of all surprisingly the AOT visual studio project(visualstudioprojects\dynamicsAXmodelProjects) which I modified in the visual studio doesn't get modified(I don't see any change in the .proj file after modifying,building and depolying the report).
2.While I am compiling project file it is throwing an Error called "Cannot save \SSRS Reports\Reports\CustAccountStatementExt because it is checked-in. Check out the node and redo your operation." ,Error path"\C:\Program Files(x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\DynamicsTools\ Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework. Design.Reporting.Modeling.targets".
FYI -the report has been deployed correctly and I see the changes in the report from users side.
Things I tried: I made FULL CIL,FULL compile,restarted AOS,restarted IIS,restarted reporting server and SQL server agent nothing helped.I also tried checking out the file and compiling the project which didn't help.
Please let me know if I could do any thing else...
