We have a AX 2012 Feature pack with demodata (VM from Microsoft) compiling issue.
We have the same problem with clean installation of AX with restored demo data, but we thought that it is problem with our AX configuration or demo data restoring, so we downloaded VM AX 2012 Feature pack with pre-installed demo data from Microsoft site (it's VM A) - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ukax/archive/2012/03/21/microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-feature-pack-demo-vm-for-commercial-industries-release-1-now-live-on-partnersource.aspx and tried to compile it into CIL, but compiling is freezing and does not respond for a long time (we left VM at least for 12 hours and got no results - for comparison compiling of clean AX 2012 Feature pack into CIL takes 20-30 minutes).
Hardware is: Windows 7 64-bit, 8 Gb of RAM, 2-core i3.
I don't think this issue is related to licesnse data, because we have this issue (AX CIL compiling is freezing) both with Microsoft VM and with our clean AX install + restored demo data with validated license data.
I attached Windows event logs to show the Window errors, but also I believe that guys from Microsoft support can reproduce this issue using VM A from link above.
Also I can provide other helpfull information that you may need.
Any helps or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
