Dynamics AX 2009 / SQL Server 2012

Hello,

I have one question. Is SQL Server 2012 official released for Dynamics AX 2009 SP1 HFR8?

We plan to transfer our database from VM to an dedicated hardware. So I'm interested how
to build a failover solution. My first idea was to use mirroring in SQL Server 2008 R2, but
SQL Server 2012 "Always On" could be an alternative.

Any experiences?
