1. This scenario is related to ‘Exchange Rate’ Setup. When the client purchase from foreign Vendor they are paying him after deducting TDS. For example-:
Invoice amount is US$ 100
Paying to Vendor is US$ 90
TDS is US$ 10
Now for paying to Vendor i.e. US$90 one fixed rate i.e. for example INR 50 is decided by their Company at the starting of every month and all the transaction has to be done with that fixed rate only.
But the TDS which has to be paid to the TDS Authority is paid on the 7th of every month and the exchange rate is given by RBI which vary from the exchange rate given by GE i.e. the rate can be INR 51 or 49 also and the TDS amount US$ 10 has to be paid on that rate i.e. INR 51 or 49.
The client want at the invoice level two exchange rates i.e. one for paying the vendor and the other for TDS.
In Brief-:
Can the TDS exchange rate be different from the PO or the invoice currency rate?
Example: Vendor invoice for USD. 100 and Cess (TDS code say) 10% on gross, can we have different INR rate setup for TDS posting.
How to capture this in AX?
