We are current on that stage to upgrade from RU7 to RU8 for our AX 2009 DEV and TST environment, and everything looks good until..
One of our business analyst find out the under RU2 there's a hotfix KB968195 which was tried to fix the misc. charge apply to sales price issue when apply to project was not in our enviroment.
So I do some reasearch on the class SysHotfixManifest and did not find this hotfix list there. Than I download the hotfix and compare the xpo file to what we have now in SYP layer, there's a methood initFromProject() under table trvexptrans_proj that has one line of code difference.
can any one help me on these:
1. why this hotfix is not flow to AX since it was supposed installed as RU2?
2. what is the impact on deploy the code of this initFromproject method to trvexptrans table?
3. during the comparison I also found out the current SYP layer has more fields, indexes, methods than this hotfix, does that mean there's some changes after RU2 about this table, so we actually should not apply this hotfix? since it will remove those fields\indexes\methoded if we install from axsetup.exe.
