We are investigating the possibility of running the Inventory Recalculation process on a daily basis using a batch job in AX 2009.
Unfortunately, in our testing we have discovered that the Recalculation is posting adjustments to Project COGS instead of Project WIP for projects that are still active and have not recognized revenue. We are able to move the costs back to WIP on a project-by-project basis using the "Post Costs" function but this is clearly not feasible to do regularly especially with many active projects.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to find a solution?
