Hi, I'm trying to use the Category access policy rule to restrict the purchase categories which a user may access when creating a Purchase order in the AX client, but I canot get it to work. The Help text says: "The procurement site in the Employee services portal uses the category access rule to control which procurement categories users have access to. When a user accesses the procurement site, the system determines which purchasing policy and category access rule to apply based on the legal entity and operational unit that the employee belongs to."
Can anyone confirm that the Category access policy rule only applies to the Employee servcies portal and is not used by the DAX client?
