I'm an administrator for Customersource and LCS for my company. I'm having problems with a user who has a customersource account - has gone through the steps of logging onto customersource and associating her liveID with her profile. I sent an invite now from LCS - she can logon to LCS but there is no Project Request showing for her. Other users in my company have been able to accept the Project Request in LCS just fine.

Can you give me some guidance on what may be wrong with this particular user's profile that she does not see a Project Request?

How can I setup charges for freight depending on the order amount. e.g. Amount < 1000€ charges 20€ and over > 1000€ none

When I'm trying to select a printer in order to print a sales order, the selection "bounces back" to the default printer. The program is installed and run on a TS. I can print a test page and print from word. I've tried to select different properties, rendering the job on the client and spool the job on the TS server and on our print server.

Can anybody help me?

Hi everyone,

I have a form with two grids and in these I have to show the same datasource, but the first one has to be filtered by a query instead than the second one who has to show the entire data.

The problem is that if I filter the first datasource, automatically the second will take the changes that I've made on the first one. So I tried to create another datasource that would be filled with the entire data of the existing one, but it doesn't work.

The exisiting datasource is based on a temporary table (InMemory) that is filled by a class.

Any help or tip?

When selecting a reference type production for an item in the invenntrans, and then using right click>view details on the production order, a different production order detail is displayed. Th esame production order is displayed regardless of the reference selected

Hi

I have the purchase process as below:

1. Purchase order created

2. Inventory module item arrival overview -> item arrival journal posted(Registered).

3. Quarantine check

4. Post the purchase receipt(Received).

5. Material is used by production.

My pain is the warehouse staff forget to post the "Purchase Receipt" sometime(step 4). The point is the material even can be used by production when its status is "Registered".

Is there a way that i can control the material cannot be picked by production when it's registered ?(only can be used when the purchase receipt is posted)

Hi All,

After the configuration key "Warehouse and Transportation management" is disabled, we get below compilation error on standard AX 

Error : The table WHSWorkLineCycleCount does not contain the method WHSWorkTable.

Did anyone face same issue or any suggestions?

Hello all,

Is it possible to assign the same worker to multiple projects at different billable rates?  For example, on Project A, Fred bills at a rate of $100 per hour, however on Project B, Fred bills at a rate of $125 per hour.  I understand how to set up different cost/ sales price per hour.  However, when I book that worker to the project and then click 'view booking details' the cost price per hour says $0. 

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi, I have an issue,

In AX 2012 there is a report (CustVendTransOpenPerDate) and nobody make changes there. Everything went normal until a couple of days. In a field there is a code - =DrillCustVendAccount(Parameters!AX_ReportContext.Value, Fields!AccountNum.Value, Parameters!ModuleCustVend.Value) - and it was working, but now, when someone try to click in the provider id, it doesn't work.

 

Can you help me find a solution?

Hi, I have a problem and I have been stuck.

When I run the A and N jobs the data does not appear in the store database. It remains empty with the default tables.

This is my topology:

AOS and AX database server on a server machine.

Store database on a different machine.

The Sync profiles: 1 at the HQ and the other at the store are working. When I test them the connection is successful. I am using the Contoso sample data for AX2012 R2

The AOS profiles are running ok when tested also.

I installed the SQL in the store database with all the services having a domain account.

I have added the sync service account in the Store DB and message database.

Also, all the ports have been opened in the firewall and also created the IPsec rules.

Any help is highly appreciated. I am running AX 2012 R2. Thank you.

I am looking for a way in AX 12 to determine the month to date items that have been picked and shipped. One might contend that this would be a function of what has been invoiced. But I am looking for a more difinitive/easier way. Currently I am looking to InventTrans and InventSum but these seem to be a point in time and not tracking historical transactions.

 

in a nut shell I am looking for something to tell me

Item Qty pickdate/shipdate if I can tie it back to a salesOrder great.

I should mention that I am working on BI so I am exposed to a snapshot of the AX database as of about midnight everyday.

Hi 

 i created one web page in EP Ax 2009

I have two tables, one table have data(20 rows), i need to insert continueously the out put data in to another table which is have same fields.

Hope you understand the requirement. company conduct survey to employee like 20 to 25 question'(constant),  that question will be same. all the employee should answer(that wil insert in another table). is this possible to achieve in EP.

I already created and display question in AXgridview in one axform through dataset. now my question is how to insert output in another table.

am new to EP. just past week only started to work in EP. please reply ASAP

Hello,

I have to reinstall the Enterprise search component to resolve some issues with it. In principle no problem, the first installation was no problem. However I now get an error at the prerequisite check:

Performing a service status check for prerequisite 'Application Object Server (AOS) Services WSDL URI accessible'. - Check failed.

 When I click on the "Error"-link I get the message "Resolution: Attempt to access the WSDL port manually by entering the URI http://<SERVER>:/DynamicsAx/Services/MetadataService. ..."

The reason obviously is that the port (8101) is missing in the URI the prerequisite checker is trying to access. If I enter the URI  http://<SERVER>:8101/DynamicsAx/Services/MetadataService in the browser it works without problem... Where does the prerequisite check get the port to connect to from/what have I to change to get it working again?

In Release product, we have a tab called manage cost and we can enter the price there.

When does Ax use this field if we set an item as moving average ?

 

For moving average price, does the price varies from purchase price from PO ?

If so, what is the purpose of this field ??

In Released product, we would like to bulk update the price and price unit under manage cost tab.

I try update using DMF, but DMF change the price and price unit in the purchase tab instead.

Can we update it using excel add-in ?? Is this field stored in many table ??

this is the error that we receive after opening RDP based custom reports:

we alredy did the following:

-Restarted AOS and SQL

-Full Compile, Full Cil, Incremental CIL, Deploied again the Reports

what can we do?
