Dear Experts , 

i need help 

i have an issue with SSRS SharePoint mode print out 

the problem is :  error message related to one domain user ( domain\administrator ) and this not Ax user

for Example :

my user is domain\ekrami

the Error come

The permissions granted to user 'domain\administrator' are insufficient for performing this operation. rsAccessDenied.

 many users have same message. 

 users are using RDP and Client 

i got one solution ,,, when remove user profile on client machine and create it again it's working fine 

but always come back after some times . 

same user have RDP connection can print without any error . 

appreciated .

Dear Expert,

I'm not sure what is it happen on my AX system,  on sales order screen I cannot find the menu

Reservation under Inventory Hierarchy.  Could you please advise me how to enable for this menu.

(I have already setup Accounts receivable parameters and selected Reservation field to be "Manual".)

Could you please give me solution for this requirement.

If we put item number in third party application(C#) and it has to get item quantity ,Site & warehouse ,Price from AX.

can you please share me procedure and programmes how to connect to ax. Ax has to push data to c# application for that particular item number

Hi Everyone,

I would like to inquire regarding the Cost Price column on [Project] Item Journal.  We have created a PO and bought office supplies.  We posted both the product receipt and invoice.  When we are about to issue the item to a particular project, via [Project] Item Journal, the Cost price reflected is 0.

Can you tell us about this behavior?  Why does it not get the Cost amount from the posted invoice?  We use FIFO model.

Dear all,

I am using AX 2012 R3 cumulative update 12.

Could you inform me what class in AX to insert adjustment in purchase financial transaction?

When I post purchase invoice, there is adjustment in financial transaction.

I want to know how the AX system insert the adjustment.

I have tried to debug the posting process, but I do not find when adjustment is made.

Hi all,

I have loaded budget entries for revenue with amount type, "Revenue".  I turned on budget with the budget configuration setup.  This works fine for my expense budget.  However, for my revenue budget, I feel like something is missing regarding the posting definition, posting transaction.

For Posting definition, I did the following.  My revenue main account is 410000 (with main account type=Revenue).  But here, i used the below main account "300160" with main account type=P&L.  Because I read somewhere for budget to work the main account type either has to be expense or P&L. 

Then in Posting Transaction, i did the following:

I did not do any setup in my Inventory Posting Profile.  After that, when I do sales and invoice, I was unable to see it deducted from revenue but in my actual expenditure, it will deduct it.

Please help me identify what I missed in setup.

Hello guys,

I would know how to set up the Reverse charge for an Italian company. I tried a generic set up as shown here:

In both cases, someone mentioned that whatever I was trying to do through VS development could be done through the UI. I have very little knowledge of the front end - I only see it when I test my own developments.

privileges, duties, roles: it looks like only privileges are needed from the development side?

policies: Should it only be created in development and then linked to roles in the UI?

I was just wondering where the split between development and UI customization in regards to security is intended to be, ie what  should be implemented by me as a (super-junior) developer and what should be implemented in the UI? Or any other general comments or sources I can read?

Hi Experts,
Enabled the record level security for ledger restriction[Main account table], but it seems restriction only n the main account form, restriction is not happening for journals, reports and Inquiry any one have any idea,

any work around ?

How to fix textbox height in SSRS report in  AX2012  , i want to fix the height of text box in SSRS report design to 5 lines , we have the property called "Allow height to increase" and "Allow height to decrease"  but it will not fulfill our requirement, want to fix the text box height to 5 lines or any fix number of lines.

Please do needful.

Hi,

I'm getting a connection-related issue between the SQL Server 2008 R2 database with Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009 running on the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system, The problem I encountered was related to "Setup could not connect to the database server"

if anyone can explain why the Microsoft Dynamic AX installer can not connect to that database, 
please let me know what I should do.

We have a case where we see a lot of long running transactions that are blocking other transactions. The blocking transaction is always the same, but seems to originate from different user sessions. It's a relatively innocent looking select statement. Basically in some cases we've had to kill the transaction because it was running for ~hour.

I know there could be many reasons for the poor performance, but has anyone seen especially this query performing poorly?

Advanced warehouse is used. InventDim table has 3,4 million records.

We are running index maintenance (reorganize if <50% fragmented, otherwise rebuild) twice a week, and a statistics update (Tables and Views, Full scan) every night.

We are using trace flag 1224.
